“Hills” honey Lauren Conrad won’t say anything about a possible fifth season of the MTV hit reality show, unlike her co-star Audrina Patridge, who on Friday confirmed to People magazine that the show will go on.
“There is going to be a fifth season. We just found out,” Patridge said.
But Lauren doesn’t think Audrina should have been blabbing. “I’m actually not allowed to talk about that and I don’t think she was either,” Conrad told the Track.
Conrad was in town to host a fashion show and promote the social networking Web site thequad.com at The Estate in Boston. “It was the fourth stop on a tour we did,” she said. Conrad debuted her holiday clothing collection at each of the stops and found models to show off the looks via the networking site.
“It was really cute. The fashion show was narrarated, so it was more about the girls,” she said.
Her holiday fashion collection is a self-described “California brand,” so it includes “a lot of dresses.” “The Hills” star said the collection includes bold patterns and colors but can still be worn in the wintry New England weather.
On The Hills, when Heidi drank too much at her last big event for Bolthouse, and mouthed off to her boss Sam, I was jumping up and down in my seat as I awaited the repercussions. Brent Bolthouse acted quickly the next day, telling her to pack her things and leave her position with the company immediately. Soon after, Heidi and Spencer ran into Brent at a bar where Spencer confronted him, asking him to give his girlfriend her job back. Brent said that he never wanted to see him again but Heidi headed over afterwards to try to make peace. He agreed to set up a meeting between her and Sam so that she could apologize face to face. Not only did she apologize, she got her damn job back! Only on an MTV reality show…
Here’s what I don’t get about Heidi. She lost her best friend over Spencer. Her mother broke down in tears over him. Her sister was thrown out of the house and is homeless because of him. Her career was in serious jeopardy because of his actions - twice. When the whole world is trying to tell you something, why won’t you listen? Heidi even said to Spencer on last night’s episode that maybe he was the problem. Uh, yeah! Ya think, Heidi? Spencer has brought nothing but pain and heartache to everyone around him, including his own sister. What in the world is keeping these two together, besides pseudo-fame?
I remember a carefree Heidi in the early days of The Hills. These days, she’s virtually unrecognizable. She just looks absolutely miserable all the time and has nobody close to her anymore. She’s all alone in this little MTV reality bubble with a boyfriend who verbally abuses her and she somehow is willing to put up with it and lose everyone she loves for a little D-List status in Hollywood. It’s really getting to the point where I just stop hating Heidi and start feeling sorry for her.
Lauren got a surprising new roommate. Heidi got her job back. Audrina got a present and some quality time with a maturing Justin-Bobby. And Lo, Whit, Holly and Aud’s sister all got enough face time on this week’s episode of The Hills. But the girls also got a life lesson: sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for.
New Roomie: Holly started crashing at LC’s pad after being kicked out of Speidi’s place. Whit warned her: “The longer she stays there, the more the two of them are gonna resent you.” But LC, being our altruistic hero, replied: “My only concern is how they’re going to treat her but seeing as they didn’t leave her with much of an option.”
Stephanie ran into LC at school at the computer stations and LC quickly shocked her with her house guest news. The She-Pratt agreed with Whit that it would probably cause issues. “I think Heidi will be hurt and sad,” she said, trying to seem interested in the conversation when what she seemed to really want to do was immediately break the news to her brother and his fiancée. LC remained aloof: “To be honest, I don’t care what Heidi thinks.”
Holly filled Lo and LC in on what happened with Speidi over drinks in the kitchen. She called him a hypocrite for getting Heidi to kick him out and exaggerated about how often she cooked and cleaned. Lo excused her from Cinderella duty at their pad: “We don’t have rules here. You don’t have to clean.” (At that moment, LC got the “What you talking ‘bout Willis?” look.) She continued: “Heidi has been my best friend our whole lives. I can’t believe she put me in this position. I don’t think she is thinking about [me.] I’m furious.” Sure, Heidi encouraged Holly to come out and offered her place until she got on her feet, but it is us or did Holly never appeared to be searching for a job? Holly blamed Heidi as much as Spencer, but LC stuck up for her ex-friend: “He drives away everyone that cares about her.”
Beachy Keen: Justin-Bobby and Audrina were walking on the Venice Beach Promenade talking about going to Mexico again to make up for the Cabo disaster. Justin was laying his love for his hood on thick (“There’s something zenful about it. The sunsets are nice, too,” he said) and hinting that she come round to his side of town more often. “I don’t like to leave here if you’ve noticed. That’s why I think when I get to your place and I’m kind of …” (If only we had a dollar for every unfinished JB thought!). Later, while hanging out at Winston’s with LC, Aud explained how JB was done with the Hollywood scene and partying every night. “I’m letting him call the shots. You can’t force things to happen.” LC seemed annoyed that Aud is still “playing the game,” her face suggesting she pitied her pathetic pal. “Justin will always be your No. 1.”
With shooting of the fourth season of The Hills about to wrap in a few weeks, Audrina Patridge, 23, is addressing speculation about the show’s future.
“There is going to be a fifth season,” Patridge tells PEOPLE. “We just found out.”
Patridge, who recently filmed the thriller Sorority Row with Rumer Willis, adds that — despite all the drama — she and her costars have a good time filming the show: “We have fun with each other and we’ve stuck it out this long, so we might as well do another one.”
But Patridge admits that the cast’s divergent interests have made filming difficult.
“At one point, all of us were like, ‘No, we don’t want to do another season,’” she says. “I wanted to do more movies, and Whitney moved to New York and she’s doing her own spin-off. And Lauren’s dating [My Boys actor] Kyle [Howard] but he can’t be on the show because he’s on another show, so that makes it hard.”
Something else that wasn’t easy: Recent buzz that Conrad had a fling with Patridge’s sometime-boyfriend Justin Bobby.

Did Heidi Montag actually kick her own sister, Holly, to the curb?
In next week’s episode of MTV’s hit pseudo-reality show, Holly moves in with—drumroll, please—Lauren Conrad.
Referring to L.C. as her “new roomie,” Holly revealed at last night’s launch party for the new Shaun White Snowboarding video game that she’s living with her sister’s one-time nemesis “for a little bit.”
Of course, the move did not come without some drama. Holly was tight-lipped when asked for the juicy details, so we did some diggin’.
A source says highlights of the episode include Montag complaining to Conrad that her own sibling gave her the boot from her and Spencer Pratt’s apartment.
