Despite receiving anything but positive reviews, Heidi Montag’s debut single “Higher” reached No. 7 on the iTunes Top 10 pop chart.”Looks like all the haters are also buying it!” The Hills star tells Us Weekly in its latest issue, on newsstands now.But the negative responses – “Makes me feel uncontrollably ill,” “beyond pathetic,” and “the crappiest video I have ever seen” were just some of the comments posted on Usmagazine.com – humiliated Montag.
“I just started sobbing uncontrollably,” The Hills star tells Us.
“I cried myself to sleep that first night after my video came out,” she says. “I just couldn’t understand why people I didn’t even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me.”
Single again, Audrina Patridge spent her Thursday night at the elegant Nicole Khristine jewelry launch party. The Hills hottie recently confirmed she has split from her latest boyfriend, Bernard Steimann.
“We filmed [the split] last week,” Patridge said. “It’s not a big deal. I’ve known him since I was fifteen and we all have the same circle of friends. We’re still going to see each other as friends.”
Changing subjects to a run-in with ex-boyfriend Justin Bobby at Les Deux nightclub on Wednesday, Audrina said: “It was really good seeing him. You’ll have to watch and see. [But] you know honestly, I’m not ready to be in a relationship right now.”
Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port weren’t fired by Teen Vogue, despite recent reports to the contrary.“I just thought it was time for them to try something new,” Editor-In-Chief Amy Astley said at the Ralph Lauren fall fashion show this morning. “An internship is a short thing, and I just felt it was time for them to move on a little bit.”

After watching Heidi Montag’s latest music video “Higher”, which was shot by her fiance Spencer Pratt on their home video camera. Audrina mentioned that she had seen the ‘homemade music video’ and she wasn’t surprised that the couple would have made it.
Audrina mentioned, ’something Heidi and Spencer would do. Heidi went on to explain, ‘I never thought she would ever be a singer since I’ve known her she’s never really talked about music or anything and all of a sudden she’s putting out this cd and this video.
There wasn’t much star power at the first set of swag suites – venues for vendors to get their products in front of celebrities, who in turn get to take home the products for free – this year, what with the ongoing writers strike dampening usually glitzy and glamorous awards ceremonies and events, particularly the Golden Globes. However, the call of free assorted products and merchandise was still heard loud and clear by a number of personalities, although most were not necessarily of the A-list kind.
One of those personalities spotted at a swag suite was Chrissy Schwartz, star of MTV’s reality series Newport Harbor. The toothy teen was spotted with a couple of friends as they sported huge grins and carried tons of nicely-wrapped goodie bags in their arms.
Missing in all the swag-suite action was Schwartz’s boyfriend, Clay Adler, who also stars in Newport Harbor. The couple’s whirlwind romance was followed closely on the show, with the two going through the usual bumps of high school and long-distance relationships. At the end of the show’s second season, the lovebirds were seen sharing a kiss under a mistletoe.

One of whom seemed rather intent on getting back into celebrity news headlines and, perhaps, making her former high school rival jealous!
During the Maxim party at the Stone Rose Lounge, Kristin Cavallari flirted with Entourage star Kevin Connolly, and was “all over Kevin until she saw Brody Jenner walk in,” says a spy from the New York Post.
“Kristin Cavallari dropped Kevin for Brody Jenner and started kissing him … that is, before she went to find photographers to take pictures of them. It was all a ploy to make [her Laguna Beach nemesis] Lauren Conrad jealous.”
Kristin, of course, used to date Brody Jenner. Then after they broke up, he and Lauren Conrad were an item, as depicted on The Hills.
But forget Lauren Conrad here. What about Cora Skinner, Brody’s reported new girlfriend? What’s she gonna think? First Linsday Lohan and now this?
She’ll get the crazy idea that Brody’s some kind of player.
