The Hills star Audrina Patridge will have a guest-starring role in the new FOX sitcom Do Not Disturb, which stars Jerry O’Connell and Niecy Nash.
The 23-year-old reality TV personality will play a guest checking into a hotel and the episode will debut this fall.
“[Do Not Disturb] takes place in New York City at a swanky hotel,” Audrina shares on her blog. “I will be playing a guest checking into the hotel and I am going to film my scenes sometime next week! I think Jerry O’Connell is hysterical (have you guys seen his video on that Web site FunnyorDie!?) and I can’t wait to meet Niecy!”

It was as inevitable as another Speidi photo op: The acting bug has bitten Lauren Conrad.
Enduring no hazing whatsoever, the leading lady of MTV’s The Hills (and this week’s EW cover girl) has signed on to appear in an episode of ABC Family’s addictive college soap, Greek. However, the gig won’t require her to go all Meryl Streep on us: She’ll be doing what she does best, playing herself in the show’s second season finale on Oct. 28.
Explains series creator Sean Smith, Conrad — who will shoot her scene in early September — is going to play a spiritual adviser to Spencer Grammer’s character. “It’s a dream sequence in which Casey and LC are best friends. Casey has a big decision she has to make, and she’s like, ‘LC, what do I do? Advise me!’” he reveals, adding that the girls’ dynamic reminds him of “when Frankie Avalon is telling Frenchie what do to in Grease. Casey holds LC in that high esteem.”
Although there are no direct Hills references in the script, Smith says the scene has a vibe that definitely calls the unreality show to mind. “There are a lot of ‘likes’ to make it sound more conversational.” And there’s gotta be at least one of The Hills‘ trademark dramatic pauses… right? “There isn’t,” Smith laughs, “but that might change now.” (It’s worth nothing that MTV had to sign off on the script.)
Programming note: Greek kicks off its second season on Aug. 26 in its new Tuesday time slot following The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
So what you say, Greek fans? You game for a Hills crossover? It will almost certainly bring more eyeballs to what is arguably ABC Family’s best series, so me? I’m all for it!
Kitson, one of Hollywood’s trendiest (and most overpriced) boutiques, recently dropped “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad’s clothing collection.
And they weren’t very nice about it either.
They told the media that Lauren’s and alleged lackluster designs were why the line tanked.
But Conrad, 22, says: “I’m proud of the collection.” She told Life & Style that 500 stores, including Bloomie’s and Fred Segal, carry her clothing line. “The response has been amazing.”
And the new stuff - with a Cyndi Lauper ’80s feel - is on its way, folks.
“Holiday is up next, and my theme is ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,’ ” Lauren proudly told the mag. “I’m really excited about it. After that is my resort collection with a safari-chic theme.”
Wow. A safari chic resort collection. Genius, simply genius. Where does she come up with these design ideas?
Oh right. Yves Saint Laurent did it first. In the ’70s.
Lauren Conrad’s fashion line is selling so poorly that the trendy Kitson Boutique in Beverly Hills is now offering a buy one get one free deal. Poor Lauren. I mean, who could have seen this coming? Oh yeah, that’s right, everyone.
Earlier this year, Kitson owner Fraser Ross announced that he was dropping Vic’s dVb style collection due to lackluster sales and her refusal to make a promotional appearance. Now Conrad’s collection has suffered a similar fate with the recent announcement that her lack of involvement has led to a lack of sales.
However, a rep for “The Hills” hottie said that LC’s collection has exceeded expectations and is in more than 500 stores, including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Planet Blue and Fred Segal. Her peeps also shot down whispers that Conrad isn’t exactly the creative genius behind the brand that she claims to be.
“Lauren designs the line from start to finish, doing everything from sketching to fabric selection to fitting the garments,” a rep said.
But a few key fashion insiders have told Pop Tarts that LC is more the “celebrity face” behind her label and that her Creative Director Sherry Wood (the designer for former fashion label Tart) is pretty much responsible for all those chic girly garments.
Apparently, the majority of celebs with a fashion line have such crazy schedules that they do a bit of the work and front the collection, and Conrad is “no different.”
