According to Lauren, yes. She downplayed the tension from yesterseason, saying: “You know how you are with friends. Sometimes you fight, and sometimes you’re not good, then you make up and it’s fine. So we’re just like any other two girls with a friendship. It’s good and bad.” Funny enough, when Audrina later showed up, she said she had no idea Lauren and Lo were there. So it sounds like Lauren and Lo are still thisclose and Audrina is still keeping her space chez Audrina (the guest house).

Cameras are already rolling again for The Hills girls (and Spencer), but that isn’t stopping them from other summer pursuits, TV Guide reports.

From fitness plans to professional opportunities - not to mention outings to Les Deux, obvs - summer’s just another season for new challenges.

At Sunday’s Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Carnival, Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt all made appearances to show their support for this important cause.

For Spencer Pratt, the event is an annual tradition.

“I grew up with [Elizabeth Glaser's son] Jake Glaser, so I’ve been coming to this event since I was in elementary school,” he said. “We have so much love for this charity, and want to do anything we can to help out.”

No word on whether Spencer was packing heat at the event.

But as people mobbed fiancee Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt said that their summer was focused on finishing her album in time for The Hills Season 4.

“We’re in the studio with Todd Chapman,” Pratt said.

“He’s doing all 12 songs. He’s a genius.”

As for her next music videos, however, Heidi Montag is losing one of her most notorious crew members. With a chuckle at his own expense (over his efforts with “Higer,” Pratt said he would no longer be directing videos.

For now, music is the pair’s only definite extra-curricular. That rumored Speidi spin-off is not happening “anytime soon,” Pratt said.

“We love The Hills. [Maybe] when The Hills is over.�

Also squashing her own spin-off rumors was Whitney Port.

“I don’t know the story,” she said. “I haven’t even gotten a presentation of what it would be… It could be fun. I’ve been trying to stay a little more private, so it could be a little scary, but I’m open to it.”

Lauren Conrad, meanwhile, has a serious summer fitness plan in the works. Guided by a personal trainer, LC said she knew she would soon be hitting the gym - and hopefully, reducing bikini body-busting foods.

Despite the fact that her summer beauty mantra is “less is more,” she’s also not overdoing it: Sweets and alcohol are staying on the menu.

Apart from her fitness plans, however, Lauren Conrad was also serious about taking time out for the Foundation: “We all live very fortunate lives,” she said, “and it’s nice if we can give up any time [for charity].”

While reali-tease Lauren Conrad chilled in a West Hollywood hair salon Sunday, her time finally ran out.
Her meter expired as the paps watched, and a male metermaid wrote her a ticket as quickly as a script for The Hills.

Our photog would’ve fed the meter for her, but it probably would have just thrown up the quarter. It is Hollywood after all.

Bowling managed to bring Hills costars Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, together Thursday night - or at least under one roof for the grand opening of Strike Orange County in Tustin, Calif.

But while L.C. took the chance to tell E! News everything was fine between her and Audrina, Lo vaguely alluded to “something going on” at the house they all share.

Adding to the drama of the evening, Audrina claimed to not know that L.C., Lo and Whitney were there - and kept her distance even after finding out.

The two were seen bowling at the opposite ends of the alley!

What’s more, Audrina managed to turn the diva dial up a few notches when she initially refused to do any interviews and agreed to talk only after a call was placed with her “people” to ensure that the only topic open for discussion would be bowling.

How exciting.

All of which raises the questions: Is Audrina actually fighting with the other Hills girls? Is she really that much of a diva? Or is she simply being set up as the next “villain” as part of a carefully orchestrated plan on MTV’s part to get people to tune in to the next season beginning in August?

We hate to admit it, but, real or fake, if all of this just means less facetime for Speidi, we’re in.

The former Laguna Beach babe made her way over to the celeb-friendly Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon, looking sexy in a pair of shades and a curve-hugging black dress.

In related news, Cavallari was recently asked her thoughts on Barack Obama sealing up the Democratic nomination - saying that “she’s not all that into politics, but she supports the first-term senator’s bid for the White House.”

“Obama seems like a really cool genuine guy, which I think is hard to find nowadays in a president,” she said.
