We all know most of the reality shows on MTV are not so….real. But was the infamous Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari feud on ”Laguna Beach” staged for the cameras? That’s what Kristin told Hollyscoop at the Lauren Conrad Fashion Show yesterday at Mercedes Benz Fashion week.
It was a big surprise seeing Kristin since the two girls were sworn enemies on the show. Kristin told Hollyscoop, “No, Lauren and I have been cool for a very long time….we were on a TV show together and we had drama on a TV a show for TV purposes. That was four years ago and we are so cool with each other.”
If this is the case, then could the Lauren and Heidi Montag feud be a PR move to get higher ratings? Guess we need to wait until the next fashion show to see if Heidi will attend.

Lauren Conrad drops by Monday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat up her reality TV hit The Hills.
On moving into her new mini-mansion: “[MTV] filmed us moving in. There were three girls. We had a lot of stuff. It was raining the whole weekend. We had like 15 crew members with cameras. It was madness.”
On her, Audrina and Lo thinking their new home was creepy: “We thought the house was haunted. It was built in 1922?it was an old house. We felt it was kinda creepy. We were probably freaking ourselves out but we were convinced it was haunted. We saged it [to remove the creepiness].”
Laguna Beacher Kristin Cavallari never really enjoyed the breakout success of her former rival, Lauren Conrad (although there were rumors of her being recruited to spice up the next season of The Hills), but it seems she may have finally found life after reality tv.
We caught up with the California cutie leaving the Neil George salon Wednesday, when Kristin informed us that after shooting a short film (directed by Entourage’s Kevin Connolly), she’ll be heading up north to Canada to shoot a feature.
Paris Hilton’s had a hard time translating her reality success to a film career - will Kristin be similarly cursed?
Lauren Conrad, wearing a skirt and top from her own fashion collection, drops by Live with Regis and Kelly! on Monday morning. (This segment was filmed last Tuesday but aired today, President’s Day.)
The 22-year-old starlet talked about how “real” The Hills is and going to the Super Bowl Playboy party with her dad, Jim Conrad (he apparently liked the Playboy aspect of the party more than the Super Bowl).
Lauren shared about waiting to talk about things until the cameras are turned on and also gave a mini-reason as to why she broke up with ex Jason Wahler. “He was trouble,” she said.

It’s no secret that the girls from ‘The Hills- don’t really get along. Hollyscoop.com caught up with Audrina Patridge at Nicole Khristine Jewelry Launch party at Social in Hollywood last night.
After watching Heidi Montag’s latest music video “Higher”, which was shot by her fiance Spencer Pratt on their home video camera. Audrina mentioned that she had seen the ‘homemade music video’ and she wasn’t surprised that the couple would have made it.
Audrina mentioned, ’something Heidi and Spencer would do. Heidi went on to explain, ‘I never thought she would ever be a singer since I’ve known her she’s never really talked about music or anything and all of a sudden she’s putting out this cd and this video.
Audrina also explained her initial reaction when she saw the video and couldn’t believe it. Audrina also gave us the scoop on the 3rd season of “The Hills” as she moves in with Lauren Conrad in a new pad. Audrina says the 4th season is just wrapping up and will be different from all other season.

March 7th, 2008 • Pop Tarts: Kristin Cavallari Parties Hard Over Super Bowl Weekend
It seems former “Laguna Beach” babe Kristin Cavallari had a little too much fun over the Super Bowl weekend.
The reality star rocked out at 944 Magazine/Tao’s House of Hennessy, where a spy tells Pop Tarts she asked her friend for a girl-on-girl smooch.
“At one point, Kristin walked outside with her girlfriends and they all sat on the floor by the fire pit, which was all dirty and disgusting,” said our spy. “Suddenly she started screaming ‘I need food!’”
But when she didn’t get it fast enough, she took a toothpaste tube out of her purse, smeared the toothpaste all over the ground and her friend’s arm, then proceeded to throw the toothpaste along with some trash into the fire pit.”
However, the blond babe was finally fed burgers and ribs (which she supposedly shoveled into her mouth) before making her move.
