Lauren Conrad’s ex sat down with E! exclusively on camera at his Hollywood home Thursday morning to talk about Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s claims that Jason made a sex tape with Lauren Conrad and then threatened to sell it. Speidi had also challenged L.C. to take a lie-detector test.

Wahler told E! there never was a sex tape, that he would take a lie detector to prove there is no sex tape and that Spencer needs to “get a life.”

Speaking with Dave, Heidi explained her feud with Lauren Conrad started because, “Originally, she loved my boyfriend [Spencer]. She was, ‘He’s great, I want my dad to meet him. He’s exactly what my dad wants.’ And then the next day on camera, she’s like, ‘If you’re not broken up with him, we can’t be friends anymore.’ And I was like, ‘What? What? When did this all happen?’

And she had a boyfriend I disliked for two years but it’s not really my business to be like, ‘I like your boyfriend or not.’ I’m a friend and I was there for her. And then we stopped being friends and then all of a sudden, she had this sex tape that was coming out.

The sex tape is of [her ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler], who was on the show. I tried to help her get it back for a year. I told her, ‘You gotta get it back! You gotta do something about this!’ And then all of a sudden he was coming out with it and she didn’t know what to do. And the next thing I know, it’s blamed on me that I made up the sex tape! I’m like, ‘I didn’t film it. I didn’t do it. I’m not trying to sell it. How did it come down on me?’

I think [Lauren] should focus on her own life and try to get her own boyfriend. (audience applauds)”

We had the honor of sitting down with Lauren “Lo” Bosworth from The Hills and Laguna Beach and talking about the reality series and the young starlet’s future.

Can you talk a little bit about how shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills work? How much of it is reality and is any of it scripted?

Lo: Sure. We do have a filming schedule which definitely makes it easier than having cameras around 24/7. Everything that we film is real, everything you see on the show has really happened. It really is a lot of expert editing done by people that work with the show. They create such an interesting storyline that it seems like there is a script. If I didn’t know and I watched the show, I would think the same thing, but there is no script.

Is it difficult to live a normal life with the cameras around? Or does having that filming schedule help to make it more bearable?

Lo: The fact that there is a filming schedule makes it a lot more bearable. We filmed this morning, but now I’m just hanging out here at home. I have the rest of the day off, so it’s really not bad at all. It’s weird though, the paparazzi like to hang out in front of the house, and so if we go anywhere, they’re there. So it’s hard to like run down to Blockbuster, because they’re there. There are always people around.

Lauren Conrad’s passion for fashion is stronger than her claim to fame.

The fetching reality-TV star — who looks like a cross between Carmen Electra and Marcia Brady — is enjoying the A-list celebrity status she has acquired as the main face of MTV’s The Hills.

When this crazy roller-coaster ride stops, Conrad insists she won’t miss it.

“Basically, when I’m done with entertainment, I just want to design,” Conrad said yesterday in Toronto, where she was on a promotional blitz both for The Hills and her own clothing line at Holt Renfrew. She’ll make a public appearance this afternoon at Holt Renfrew’s Yorkdale location.

“Eventually I want to have all of my time to design and kind of enjoy my own privacy,” she said.

We hit up The Hills premiere party last night at Gotham Hall to get a load of the action and chat with Lauren Conrad. We took a different approach to the questions this time around, giving Lauren mini-personality quiz questions to answer. Our favorite part of The Hills premiere party? No, it wasn’t Mariah Carey. Instead it was the MIA factor of one recently naked Audrina. Sure, if you watched the show, you know she was always there when the cameras were rolling. But as soon as the cameras weren’t on the girls, a publicist would grab Audrina and run her across the room before any press could swoop in and ask her about her nude pictures.

Obviously this was a good idea, as I’m sure those were the only types of questions Audrina would be asked, and I bet she didn’t want to have to talk about the photos.
